Half a kilometre from the last road, a broken ring of earth still holds its shape on the drumlin slope. People called it a fairy fort because the hole in the middle goes downward instead of opening like an ordinary field. That reversal makes the whole place sound like a trap: a room built for someone who does not want to be found.

Located towards the top of the SW-facing slope of a drumlin. This is an overgrown circular area (int. diam. 31.5m NW-SE; 31.5m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (at NE: Wth 3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1-1.2m), and an external fosse (at NE: Wth of top 6.5m; Wth of base 3m; D 0.8m) which survives N-E. The bank is reduced to a scarp (H 0.7m) SW-W. The entrance (Wth 1.6m) is at E and there is a Man-made underground passage (LE015-021002-) at the centre.
