Enclosure is an enclosure, large enclosure in Kellybrook (athlone North By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a broad, flat-bottomed NW-SE valley and contains castle RO042-102001- within an oval grass-covered area measuring 90m NE-SW and 60m NW-SE. A fosse 3.5m-4m wide at its top and 0.1m-0.33m deep bounds the SW-N side, while a 3m-wide bank or 0.2m scarp bounds the rest. No original entrance is identifiable.
In a broad, flat-bottomed NW-SE valley. The castle (RO042-102001-) is within an oval grass-covered enclosure (dims 90m NE-SW; 60m NW-SE) defined by a fosse (Wth of top 3.5m-4m; int. D 0.2m-0.33m; ext. D 0.1m) SW-N and by a low bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.2m) or scarp (H 0.2m) elsewhere. It has no identifiable original entrance.
