On the summit of a rise, in pasture. Indicated on the 1900 revision of the OS 6-inch as a large roughly oval enclosure (dims. c. 70m NE-SW; c. 60m NW-SE) with a quarry (dims. c. 45m NE-SW; c. 25m NW-SE) in the S-SW sector.
