In pasture. A curvilinear enclosure (diam. c. 20m) identified as the cropmark of a fosse on an aerial photograph (CUCAP BGG002, 16 July 1971). The cropmark of a field boundary appears to run roughly E-W across the monument. Another enclosure, also visible as a cropmark on the same aerial photograph, lies c. 130m to the SE.
