Fort Nelson still holds its shape inside Killygullib Glebe, though no modern marker admits the name. The enclosure may have served as a boundary, a drill yard or a forgotten military mark, and that uncertainty gives the land more life than a confident label would. Its absence from ordinary recognition does not diminish it; it refuses to be reduced into a tidy historical fact.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as ENCLOSURE: FORT NELSON (O.S. memoir site, unlocated). Recorded period: UNCERTAIN; MODERN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
