Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Rockingham Demesne (boyle By., Rockingham.ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a rock outcrop where the ground falls away in every direction except northeast. A grass-covered stone spread marks a circular area nearly forty-eight metres across, with no visible entrance. A field system attaches to the northwest, and a house stands about seventy metres east.
On an area of rock outcrop (H 2m at W; 3.75m at N) with the ground falling away in every direction except to the NE. Circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 48.7m E-W; 47m N-S) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 3-4m; H 0.7-1m) with some facing stones visible (at N: original Wth 2m). There is no visible entrance. Field system (RO006-091001-) is attached to the NW, and house (RO006-092----) is c. 70m to the E.
