That is a fairy fort in Effrinagh, County Leitrim: a grass-and-rush ring platform on a drumlin slope, broad enough to hold a small household and quiet enough to disappear into rain. Its shallow ditch and hidden entrance suggest people shaped the land, not fantasy alone. The long depression inside may be a collapsed passage, a tunnel for roots, rain or fear. Whatever it was, the fort still works like a threshold, inviting you to walk around before judging what it keeps.

Located on the N-facing slope of a small drumlin. This is a grass and rush-covered subcircular platform (dims 44m E-W; 40m N-S; H 0.65m) with a hedge at the perimeter defined by a slight fosse (Wth 2.15m; D 0.1m). The original entrance is not identified. A depression (L 10m; Wth 2m; D 0.15m) in the N interior may be a collapsed Man-made underground passage.
