What is recorded here
In pasture, 175m NW of townland boundary with Garrynalyna, an enclosure (LI049-137----) lies 80 to the SE. Not marked on the 1840 ed. OSi 6 inch map. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised sub-circular shaped platform (diam. c. 50m) defined by a scarp, transected at W by a post-1700 field boundary running NW-SE and at SW by a post-1700 field boundary running E-W. Only the SW quadrant survives of the partially levelled monument visible as an irregular shaped area defined by an arc of trees from SW-W-NW on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage.
