Dunmurry Hill drops from 769 feet into County Kildare, carrying a stoney mound and two possible hut sites within an old hillfort. The mound stands barely two metres high, wide enough for several people to circle before fading into grass. It may be a buried cairn, preserving a name or marking a loss now lost to time.

Just off, to NE of, the summit of Dunmurry Hill (OD 769 feet) and 8m NE of a small enclosure (KD022-001002-), both of which are contained in a hillfort (KD022-001001-). A low (H 1.3m at S-1.9m at N), circular (base diam. 26.4m; surface diam. 8m), grassed over, stoney mound, possibly the remains of a cairn. Two possible hut sites (KD022-001004- and KD022-001005-) lie c. 30m downslope to the SE. Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of revised upload: 12 December 2017
