What is recorded here

Indicated is a hidden enclosure in hilly County Limerick pasture, joining Glenastar and sitting near Lisheennabinna. It appeared briefly in one satellite image before disappearing again, suggesting grass, shadow or memory rather than solid stone. The land may still be marking a boundary, a shrine or a forgotten home, while people walk past it unaware.

In hilly sloping pasture abutting the townland boundary with Glenastar. A recently identified large enclosure (LI028-194----) lies 220m to SE. A fort known as ‘Lisheennabinna’ (LI028-082-----) lies 420m to SE. The possible monument is depicted as a small polygonal-shaped field (ext. diam. 22m N-S; 20m E-W) on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map, Depicted as a roughly circular shaped field on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map. Not depicted as an antiquity on any edition of the OSi maps. The site is not visible on the OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12 or on the Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. The site is visible on the Google Earth orthoimage taken 20/10/2010 but not on the subsequent orthoimage taken 08/04/2015.
