Gateway, extant 1840, on a symmetrical plan comprising pair of repointed drag edged rusticated limestone ashlar piers on drag edged limestone ashlar chamfered plinths having lichen-spotted mass concrete rounded pyramidal capping supporting arrow head-detailed wrought iron double gates. Lane fronted at entrance to grounds of Duncannon Fort.
A gateway making a pleasing visual statement at the entrance on to the grounds of the Duncannon Fort complex.
