What is recorded here

Pair of cannon or gun emplacements, extant 1863, on semi-circular plans. Now disused. Set in shared grounds.
A pair of cannon or gun emplacements not only contributing positively to the group and setting values of the Duncannon Fort complex, but also illustrating the partial refortification of the complex 'whereby it has been rendered sufficiently strong to admit 68-pounder Armstrong guns…mounted on travelling platforms [and] capable of throwing shot and shell to the entrance of Waterford Harbour' (Lacy 1863, 516-7).

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
