Dunaff Children's Burial Ground in County Donegal is a D-shaped enclosure eight metres across, bounded by an earthen bank and strewn with stones. It is a place where small lives ended before they could be named, remembered or witnessed. The shape suggests care, the stones suggest forgetting, and the children remain absent from every account that preserves the ground.
