Crannog in Drummond Otra is a circular overgrown cairn fourteen metres across at the south end of Lisanisk, still sitting fifteen metres from the old shore. It has no visible structure, only grass and forgotten shape, yet its roundness suggests a place where someone once stood above water instead of wading through it. The lake is narrow enough to see both sides, which makes the crannog less like a ruin and more like a room left floating in a long corridor of rain.

Situated at the S end of the small narrow lake of Lisanisk (dims c. 400m NNW-SSE; c. 80m E-W at S to c. 150m E-W at N) c. 15m from the old shore. This is a circular overgrown cairn (diam. 14m; H 0.5m) with no structural features visible. The above ption is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Monaghan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986).
