Standing stone in Drumlave is a rectangular stone set in pasture beside Adrigole church, small enough to touch but old enough to have watched the valley change. Its flat face and east-west line suggest people once stood before it rather than past it, perhaps marking a boundary, a memory or a warning. The ridge still holds it upright, preserving the shape of human attention long after the names and events have faded.
