Drumirril 9 remains a quiet rock art panel in County Monaghan, recorded in Blaze O' Connor's inventory of inscribed landscapes. It is the kind of place where ancient hands may have marked stone before written memory existed. The panel still belongs to the land, waiting for someone to notice what those hands thought worth showing.
