Enclosure C in Drumirril, County Monaghan, appears as a marked boundary within a prehistoric rock art landscape. It is not a grand castle or a crowded town, but a shaped place where human hands changed the land and memory changed the meaning of the change. The enclosure still belongs to that older culture of marking, watching and occupying space.
