Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Drumdigus

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Drumdigus holds a true earthen ringfort, not a fairy tale. The local name suggests people once believed the fairies lived there, but the structure is a human home or fortress built with soil and labour. The distinction matters because it returns the place to the people who sweated to shape it.
