Drumanduff holds a rath, an ancient earthwork whose boundary still traces the shape of human hands. The official record preserves the name and point but leaves the chamber empty, inviting imagination to fill the dark. Perhaps a family lived there, raised children, and disappeared into the ordinary flow of history. The soil remembers what ownership and memory have forgotten.
