What is recorded here

Indicated is a broken circular cashel on a gentle south-facing slope in County Galway, its two collapsed drystone walls still marking a twenty-four foot diameter. The inner wall vanishes from southeast to southwest, leaving a gap wide enough for doubt, memory, or the flight of the fairies themselves. What remains is not a complete fortress but an invitation to imagine the life that shaped it.
