Font in Dromin stands in the chancel as a plain octagonal sandstone block, its chamfered panels catching little light. The flat bottom and central drain suggest repeated use, perhaps for washing infants or pouring out stale water before new ceremonies. Its simplicity removes pride from the making and directs attention to the act itself.
