Lisbeg, the small ringfort in Dromgower, wore a fairy name though it was human clay. It stood two fields from a larger rath, large enough for a family and proud enough to resist forgetting. People may have lived there, loved there, and vanished into the ordinary world. The land took back what it could, erasing the boundary until even memory became uncertain.

Lisbeg/Lios Beag (small ringfort) situated two fields SW of a rath (KE014-066----). This circular enclosure is marked on the 1842 and 1916 OS maps. On the earlier edition 'cave' (KE014-069001-) is marked in the interior, though this does not appear on the later edition. This site has been completely levelled and no trace survives.
