Indicated is a children's burial ground in County Cork, Ireland, marked as such on an 1842 map and preserved inside a circular stone enclosure. Clusters of stones within the circle may still point to small graves, while two possible stone-lined graves lie to the east. The place holds the quiet shock of infancy cut short, reminding us that even forgotten fields can contain the deepest human loss.
