Wedge tomb in Dromduvane

At foot of isolated rock knoll. Ruined gallery (L 3.75m; Wth 0.9m at E), open to W, represented by three overlapping stones to N, one stone to S, inset backstone at E end. Wedge tomb, dating to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age (c. 2500–1000 BCE). Its construction and orientation are typical of the wedge tomb tradition found in western and southern Ireland, reflecting early funerary and ritual practices in the region.
