Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Dromdeer West is a circular earthen enclosure about thirty metres across, still standing inside farmed land in County Cork. Its bank rises higher outside than inside, preserving more of its shape to the west, while a second ringfort waits twenty metres north. People may have lived, hidden or marked territory there before fields took the place back.

In tillage. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.2m). Bank best preserved to W. Interior raised above level of surrounding field. Second ringfort (CO025-04601-) lies c. 20m to N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
