What is recorded here

Galláin holds two stones in West Cork, aligned northeast to southwest across a rolling pasture. The taller northern stone reaches 1.45m while the broader southern stone stands 1m high, separated by 1.6m of open ground. They have likely watched herds pass, storms come and people forget for centuries. Much of their meaning has been lost, but the shape remains clear: two markers, one line, still standing where the land first asked them to hold still.

In rolling pasture, incorporated in field fence. Stones, aligned NE-SW, stand 1.6m apart; overall length 3.7m. NE stone is 0.8m L, 0.6m T and 1.45mH. SW stone is 1.25m L, 0.8m T and 1m H.
