What is recorded here

Dromasmole once held a line of three stones stretching 320 yards northeast, the easternmost rising 45 inches above the ground. Hartnett witnessed them in 1939, but human hands or time erased every trace before the inventory reached print. What remains is a ghost measured in yards and inches, a alignment that refused to stay visible even after being counted.

One of four stones (CO073-017----; CO073-018----; CO073-020----) mentioned by Hartnett (1939, 154) in this townland. Most NE stone (H 45in) of 'extended line' of three stones (CO073-017-; CO073-018----) 'running NE for about 320 yards'. Removed; no visible surface trace.
