What is recorded here
Lady Well is a well in Dromana (decies Without Drum By.), County Waterford, Ireland. It appears on the 1840 and 1927 Ordnance Survey maps and sits on a steep west-facing slope above the north-south River Blackwater. Patrick Power stated in 1952 that it is not a holy well, removing it from the usual tradition of pilgrimage and votive offerings.
Marked as Lady Well on the 1840 and 1927 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a steep W-facing slope overlooking the N-S River Blackwater. This is not a holy well (Power 1952, 113).
