"Bastion", extant 1746, on a symmetrical plan. Part creeper- or ivy-covered walls with lichen-spotted coping to parapet. Elliptical-headed central opening with part creeper- or ivy-covered voussoirs centred on lichen-spotted keystone. Elliptical-headed tunnel openings with part creeper- or ivy-covered voussoirs centred on lichen-spotted keystones. Set on wooded bank of River Blackwater in grounds shared with Dromana House.
A ""bastion"" contributing positively to the group and setting values of the Dromana House estate.
