What is recorded here

Cairn is one of six granite stones on the top terrace of Dranagh mountain in County Carlow. The others are scattered nearby, forming a small field of markers rather than a single grand monument. They have sat through weather and forgetting, waiting for someone to walk the ridge and notice the pattern.

On the top terrace of the Dranagh mountain, a low circular cairn (diam. 2.5m; H c. 0.4m) of granite stones. Recorded by Ó Murchú (2011, 66) as part of a Master's thesis (Survey number: C04).
