What is recorded here

Unknown in name and date, the wreck lies 28 metres down off County Down, preserving only a rectangular shadow in the sea floor. It may have been a trader, a soldier or a forgotten local craft, but the water has erased its identity and leaves behind a shape large enough to contain several lives.
The official Northern Ireland wreck record identifies Recorded wreck SWR247 as Unknown wreck. It was lost in Unknown. Recorded depth: 28m. Recorded condition: 16X 3X5m sonar anomaly.

A wreck point does not grant access or permission to dive, enter land, disturb the site or recover anything. Check current law and local conditions first.
