What is recorded here

Standing Stone Lake reflects Cooper Mountain and Goodpasture Mountain across an X-shaped waterway born where Morgan Creek and Bryans Fork join Mill Creek. The park occupies 855 acres beside that lake, while Standing Stone State Forest spreads around it. People came there to canoe, camp, walk hills, and stay in lodging after New Deal workers shaped the land. The mysterious rock that gave the place its name no longer stands where the old Walton Road cut through Monterey.
standing stone is recorded as a archaeological place in County Down. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
