Standing stone in Doon (roscommon By.)

Standing stone

What is recorded here

Standing stone in Doon (roscommon By.) is a standing stone in Doon (roscommon By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It is a highly polished limestone upright, 0.8m high and 0.5m wide, aligned northeast to southwest in a slight fold of a low-lying level landscape. Although it appears as a standing stone, it is probably a scratching post rather than a deliberate monument.
