What is recorded here

Seventeen hut sites cluster around the Lissachiggel ringfort in Doolargy, suggesting a busy settlement rather than a lonely farm. This is one of those smaller dwellings, likely sheltering a family or a single worker during the height of the fort's use. The closeness of so many huts implies constant movement, shared labour and perhaps tension over space. What remains is a quiet reminder that the fort was not a display of power but a living place where ordinary people crowded together, argued, cooked and endured the weather.
