What is recorded here

Dooish holds one standing stone, but the archives go silent about its shape, age and purpose. The stone may have marked a boundary, honoured a dead person or watched a road before written history arrived. Men and women probably touched its surface, argued beside it or forgot it entirely while living ordinary lives. The missing facts do not weaken the place; they refuse to solve it, leaving the stone free to remain strange instead of becoming a lesson.
