Doire Longáin in County Meath kept a hidden row of dead people beneath ordinary soil. Men driving fence posts in 1977 struck bones aligned east to west at regular intervals, though no local memory marked the ground as sacred. The dead had waited patiently for careless living hands to reveal their quiet pattern.

In 1977 human remains were discovered during the erection of a wooden fence.The burials appear to have been laid at regular intervals and in an E-W direction.
