Detached three-bay single-storey house with dormer attic, built c.1900. Now vacant. Porch addition and lean-to outbuilding to side (west). Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack, timber bargeboards and overhanging eaves. Rendered and exposed rubble stone walls. Square-headed openings with three-over-three timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed door opening with timber battened door. Rubble limestone and concrete boundary walls to front (north). Outbuilding to side (west).

This house is representative of a the style and form of modest rural vernacular dwellings which were once scattered throughout Bere Island and the Beara Peninsula, but are now sadly increasingly rare. It retains its original form and style and is typical of the more symmetrical farmhouses of the later nineteenth century. The house is enlivened by the retention of traditional features, such as the timber sliding sash windows.
