Gallaun is a tall standing stone in flat, marshy land west of the Caragh river in County Kerry, Ireland. It rises 2.84m, widens to 1.3m, then tapers toward a pointed top, while a smaller stone waits 135m south. The marsh may have swallowed paths, villages or memories, but this stone still marks the edge of water and sky.

This tall standing stone is conspicuously located in flat, marshy land W of the Caragh river. It stands 2.84m high and measures .7m x .28m at base; E-W. Irregular in elevation, it increases in width from its base to a maximum of 1.3m before tapering sharply on its W side towards a rather pointed top.
