Duntryleague Hill in County Limerick still holds the oval earthwork above Deerpark, though whether human hands shaped it or water carved the scarp remains uncertain. The slope sits 480m south of the summit and 120m east of a known barrow, suggesting the area may have marked territory, ritual or both. Cattle still move across the pasture where the outline appears and vanishes in aerial images, keeping the place alive under ordinary use.

In pasture on the S slope of Duntryleague Hill, the summit (922 ft., 281m) of which lies 480m to N. Barrow (LI049-265----) lies 120m to NW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a large oval-shaped earthwork during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/10,000, 81) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Faint cropmark of earthwork visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13. Faint trace of earthwork visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018 but not visible on other aerial photos. Doubtful antiquity may be a natural curving scarp rather than the remains of an archaeological monument. See attached Bórd Gáis Éireann aerial photograph and Google Earth orthoimages.
