Half an octagonal basin and a waisted stem with a cordon sit inside the north entrance of Danestown graveyard, secured to the masonry bank. The broken font measures thirty centimetres across and twenty-five centimetres high, while its stem reaches thirty-two centimetres across and seventeen centimetres high. It is a small baptismal fragment, displaced but still present where people enter the graveyard.
Inside the entrance on the N side of Danestown graveyard (ME032-008001-) and secured to the masonry of bank there is part of the bottom of the basin of an octagonal font (dim. 0.3m; H 0.25m) and part of its waisted stem (dim. 0.32m; H 0.17m) with a cordon.
