Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Danesfort, County Roscommon, Ireland. It appears as a circular enclosure about 30m across on the 1837 and 1914 Ordnance Survey maps and occupies the east-facing slope of a drumlin. A grass-covered D-shaped area measures 31m north-south and 15m east-west, bounded by a scarp rising 0.2m to 0.7m that merges into the slope, while Rath RO011-048 stands 120m to the west-southwest.
Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on the 1837 and 1914 eds. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on the E-facing slope of a drumlin. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims c. 31m N-S; c. 15m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.2m generally to 0.7m at E) N-E-S which merges into the slope elsewhere. Rath (RO011-048----) is c. 120m to the WSW.
