Situated on a broad plateau. Two conglomerate stones placed 15.75m apart form an ESE-WNW alignment. Each stone is aligned NNE-SSW. The E stone has a subrectangular cross-section (dims. 0.85-0.95m x 0.3-0.6m; H 1.85m). The W stone has a subrectangular cross-section (dims. 0.8-0.95m x 0.45-0.71m; H 1.77m).

Likely dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age, the Dallans or Pillar Stones may have functioned as a ceremonial or ritual alignment, possibly linked to solar or seasonal observations. Such paired stones are often associated with funerary or territorial markers in Irish megalithic tradition.
