Near the bottom of a gentle SE-facing slope. Visible on an aerial photograph (DoD 1999). One of three closely associated monuments; a second (KD023-078----) lies c. 30m to the N and there is a third (KD022-087----) c. 50m to the NW. A very slightly raised circular area (diam. 7.9m; H 0.05m) is girdled by a narrow vegetation band of lusher growth (Wth 0.9-1.2m), suggesting a possible back-filled fosse. A Neolithic ditch barrow; part of a small ceremonial group. Its association with other nearby monuments suggests a significant ritual landscape.
