In pasture, on E-facing slope. Recumbent stone (L 1.7m; Wth 1.5m) with one large (diam. 0.12m; D 0.12m) and three smaller cup-marks on its upper surface. Large cup-mark has roughly circular stone cover (diam. 0.24m; H 0.1m) with shallow hollow on underside; water-filled and said locally to cure warts. Neolithic or Bronze Age in origin, the cup-marks may have had ritual or symbolic significance, possibly linked to water or fertility. Similar stones are often associated with ceremonial or territorial markers in prehistoric landscapes.
