Cullaun Zero

Recorded cave place

What is recorded here

Cullaun Zero is a recorded cave place in County Clare, Ireland, first written about by P. R. Acke in 1953 and 1954 as part of the Cullaun Series. It belongs to a small family of caves named Zero through Five, suggesting explorers met one another inside the same living stone. The numbers sound like a game, but the dark water and narrow rock would have tested every person who entered.
The Irish Caves Database records Cullaun Zero at Cullaun in County Clare. This point comes from its public cave register. A cave map point does not by itself grant access: check local conditions and ask the landowner where needed.

The cave register does not grant public access. Check conditions and ask the landowner before entering private land.
