What is recorded here

In rough grazing, on a low narrow terrace at the base of a NE-facing escarpment in the Bricklieve Mountains. An oval enclosure is visible in an aerial photograph (CUCAP, BGM 47) taken in 1971. The poorly preserved remains consist of an elongated arc (C 23m) of stone wall (Wth 1.8m; H 0.4m) SSW-NNW. At W the wall crosses the base of the escarpment as a stone-faced scarp (H c. 0.7m). Elsewhere the enclosing element has been removed. There is a cashel (SL040-15901-) c. 26m to NNW on the same terrace.
