Grave Yard stands on the north side of the Crookhaven peninsula, a rectangular stone-walled enclosure holding headstones and a chest tomb from the late 18th to 19th century. A Church of Ireland church occupies its centre, anchoring the dead and living in one breath. The stones have watched Atlantic weather for generations, perhaps marking fishermen, children or lovers whose names faded before the walls did.
