Half-buried on a drumlin slope in Creevy, the fort keeps its shape beneath grass and forgets the rest. A twenty-metre circle, shallow banks at either side, a scarp dropping into the middle, and no entrance anyone can point to. It is the kind of place that stops being a ruin and becomes a living room for the people who never left.

Located towards the bottom of the SE-facing slope of a drumlin. This is a grass-covered circular area (diam. 20m NW-SE; 18m NE-SW) defined by a slight bank (Wth 3m at E; 5m at W) at E and W, a scarp down to the centre at N (upslope) and an external scarp (H 0.6m) at SE. There is no visible fosse or entrance but probably is a rath. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J.
