Structure

A piece of willow brushwood (L 1.45m min.; diam.0.022m) on the field surface. One end has been worked to a pencil point. The piece sits in moderately humified Sphagnum peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
