Outlined is a living holy well in County Donegal, trapped inside a modern circular enclosure on excellent land. The contrast between ancient water and new architecture suggests human hands kept claiming the same strange power. People still visit the well, proving the boundary between memory and invention remains porous.

Linked to Saint Cormac, the well is traditionally associated with cures for eye ailments and general healing. The site reflects a long-standing Christian and pre-Christian tradition of water worship in Ireland, with the surrounding enclosure possibly marking a later attempt to preserve or define the sacred space.
